The Toshi Toshi no Mi (トシトシの実 Toshi Toshi no Mi?) is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to manipulate the physical age of people and objects around them. It was eaten by Mimir, making him an Age Manipulation Giant (年齢自在巨人 Nenrei Jizai Kyojin?).

Strengths and Weaknesses[]
The main strength of the fruit is that it allows the user to freely manipulate the aging process of anything, including themself, other people, and objects. They can use this power to disguise themself, as well as cripple opponents by rapidly aging their intended targets into their senior years or regressing them into small, weak children. A unique effect of this ability is that the years the user steals from people are manifested in the form of sparkling jewelry and shapes.
Any target whose bodily age has been altered by this power still retains all of their memories and cognitive abilities, regardless of the age their body is showing them to be (though targets that have been reduced to toddlers have a tendency to cry as such). In addition, any markings or bodily modifications the target may have will not be affected by this power. Similarly, the progress of any disease the target has will not change if they are turned into an older version of their present self, even if they were likely to die long before reaching that age. The true strength of the fruit is that the user can transform into any possible future forms while aging herself or others forward in time.
The fruit's main weakness is that its aging effects, when applied to living things, are temporary, meaning victims will eventually revert to their rightful age at some point. That said, the user can seemingly remain in their adult form for long periods of time and even while knocked out, so it is possible that they might be the sole exception to the temporary aspect of the fruit. It is unknown if the user has any sort of control over the duration of their ability's effects. Furthermore, while the fruit allows the user to transform into any future, the more the user is aware of the reality, the narrower the future possibility becomes; thus, futures based on faith can be weakened by doubts.
Aside from this, the user suffers the standard Devil Fruit weaknesses. It is implied that submerging the user might cause the Devil Fruit's effects to be nullified, or at least take away enough of the user's energy to maintain them active.
Usage[]
Mimir mainly uses his Devil Fruit ability to disguise himself, being able to freely change between his massive stature, the size of a normal Giant, and a little kid. Mimir also has the benefit to be able to cripple anyone around him by rapidly aging them into their feeble senior years, or by regressing them into small and weak children. By shifting his apparent age up or down, he is able to fool people unaware of his powers into believing that he is somebody other than himself.
At first, Mimir used to have trouble figuring out how his fruit worked, and needed some time to master his new abilities. However Mimir quickly learned how to alter his own appearnace, which used to be enough to fool many onlookers, including most inhabitants of Elbaf. Mimir decided to keep his abilities a secret to not get in the official eyes of the World Government.
For combat, Mimir tends to employ his abilities on enemies by changing their age to extreme highs or lows, making them too old or young to engage in battle. Mimir is also able to tap into alternate futures with forward-aging techniques, in case said futures provide a physical boost to his normal abilities.
Another application of this power allows Mimir to induce a near death experience onto his opponents, causing them to brieftly adopt the appearance of a skeleton before their flesh returns. This ability seems to make an opponent actually experience a pseudo-death, akin to a physical hallucination.
Like many Devil Fruit users, Mimir can channel his abilities through foreign objects like weapons and the such.
Techniques[]
- Distortion Future (歪んだ未来 Disutōshon Fyūchā?): Mimir ages himself up into any possible future version of himself, being able to gain a large and muscular physique and becoming physically stronger as a result, or into a future where his stature reduces in size to that of a normal Giant, or his most frequently used which gives him an additional pair of arms. Mimir is also able to apply this technique to others, doing the same to them.
