The Shou Shou No Mi, is a logia-Paramecia type devil fruit. It allows the user to create and absorb any kind of shock from a object or explosion, and then release it in a concentrated blast. It was accidentally eaten by Tairaa because it somehow ended up in a bowl full of fruit. It was first seen in actual combat when the Tairaa fought Kizaru with Burendan. it also allows transformation into a reject dial golem

The Shou Shou No Mi looks like a light-blue pineapple and smells sweet. However, the fruit tastes horrible, Tairaa says, and when he ate it he thought he had eaten something poisonous because it burned the inside of his mouth.

[edit] Strengths and Weaknesses

The fruits major advantage is that it makes the user invulnerable to almost any attack, even sharp objects. However, the user is somewhat susceptible to ice and fire based attacks, because freezing or lighting something on fire is not a collision. Small amounts of fire will not harm the user, but a large amount will. As for ice, coming in contact with a ice-based attack is a bad idea.The fruit has no other known weaknesses except water.

Apart from being nearly invincible, the fruit can cause very large amounts of damage, in both short-range and long-range attacks

• Impact: Simply called Impact, this is Tairaa's most used attack, in which he places his hand(s) foot/feet on a target and blows it up.

• Impact Shot: Tairaa's favorite attack for long to medium range combat, he aims his hand in a direction and shoots a concentrated blast.

• Power Shot: An alteration of Impact Shot, the blast being much more powerful.

• Charge Shot: Also an alteration of Impact Shot, except it is a powerful blast that causes explosions.

• Pinball Game: Tairaa uses Speed Impact to bounce off walls and objects and rebound around an area to take out enemies.

• Slicing Axe:Tairaa slams his foot down and releases a wave that slices through about anything.

• Gatling Impact: Basically a high-speed version of Power Shot.

• Ursa Impact: Tairaa charges up and releases a blast from his body that flattens about ten square blocks. After this attack is preformed, Tairaa cannot use any attack for five minutes.

• Impact Crater: Tairaa jumps high using a leg Impact and produces a blast equivalent to Ursa Impact straight down, creating a huge crater. This attack also causes a five minute wait.

• Nuclear Impact: Only seen once, this very powerful attack can destroy one square mile, Tairaa used it to destroy a marine base. However, after using this attack, Tairaa was bleeding from his mouth, nose, and had to be rescued by Burendan because he fell down and was not able to move. After using this attack, Tairaa was not able to preform any attacks for three days.

• Shomu Shomu no Impact Gatling Gun:after absorbing one of luffys' Gomu Gomu No Gatling Gun attacks by using the absorbed impact and punching in the exact same way luffy punched he actually stretches his arms and each hit has the power of one of luffys' gatling guns. he can stretch his entire body in the same way by focusing absorbed Gomu Gomu No Mi attacks to any part of his body and doing a movement like, focusing energy to his leg and kicking it up and he will do an impact version of the rubber rubber axe.

• Impact Step: A move similar to Geppou, instead using feet impacts to walk on the air.

• Super Speed: An alteration of Soru, in which Tairaa uses feet impacts to propel himself very fast. Because he uses blasts instead of kicking the ground, he can move much faster than other people using Soru. However, because he is not very experienced at moving that fast, he normally ends up losing control and crashing.

There is one known level that Tairaa commonly uses:

• Super Mode: Tairaa uses this pretty often, normally saying, "super mode," and then disappearing because he moves so fast. This mode speeds him and his attacks up and makes him about three times more powerful, at a cost of tiring him out quicker. Because it uses up more energy, and because his metabolism speeds up, he gets hot and turns red like he has a really bad sunburn.

Tairaa doesn't have a fighting technique that he uses normally, but he has made some up before:

• Drunken Technique: Once, in a bar, Tairaa got really drunk and challenged a man to a fight. When they took it outside, Tairaa stood up as straight as he could and announced that he was going to use the Drunken Technique. He aimed his arm at the guy, shot a blast at him, missed by about 30 feet, ran up and tried to punch him, missed and passed out.

• Tornado Technique: When fighting Burendan, Tairaa shouted, "tornado technique!" and started to spin, shooting blasts everywhere. It would have been very effective, but after 20 seconds Tairaa became so dizzy that he fell down and couldn't stand up.
