Ryomen Sakana, also known as "Demon Shark Sakana" is a Pirate and the First Mate of the Red Hood Pirates. Formerly a mercenary, he is the second member of the crew as well as the first to join. Born in the South Blue, Sakana is a tiger shark fish-man as well as a master of the sword, creating his own swordsmanship style known as Fish-Man Nitoryu.
He is among the three strongest in the crew alongside his captain Nero, and their combatant Shani. His lifelong dream is to become the world's most powerful swordsman, due to promising his deceased brother that one of them would; Sakana also wants to do everything in his power to make Hellsing D. Nero the Pirate King.
In addition to his infamy as one of the Red Hood Pirates, Sakana is also regarded as one of twelve pirates who are referred to as the "Worst Generation".
He currently has a bounty of

Appearance[]
Sakana is a large, muscular, light-blue tiger-shark fish-man with black patterns on his face, neck, arms, legs, and back. He has very long dark brown dreadlocks that reached down past his shoulders. He has a fin on his nape surrounded by his hair, sharp nails on his hands and feat, and gills located on both of the sides of his neck. He has bright yellow eyes that become slits when he is enraged.
Sakana's attire is composed of no shirt, black pants that cuff at his lower shins, wooden Geta sandals and a large red prayer beads around his neck. He has two swords with red sheathes that he keeps on both sides of his waist.
