"Blackbeard" (黒ひげ Kurohige?) is the captain of the Blackbeard Pirates. He appeared doing the cover story of Rise of the Shogun, with a bounty of 
15,000,000.
Blackbeard is the user of the Fune Fune no Mi, a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows him to manipulate any part of a ship with a single touch, turning him into a "Ship-Controlling Human" (船君臨人間 Fune-Kunrin Ningen?).
